Following on from its first presentation in the heart of the Palais Royal, HOUSE OF BARCIA celebrates, on the occasion of Paris Design Week, the life that objects lead away from prying eyes.

Just a stone's throw from the garden, HORS-SAISON reveals itself in the suspended time of a sleeping apartment. The timeless poetry of the objects, all in shapes and colors, breathes its soul and revives the place.

Underfoot, the parquet floor creaks gently. The moldings crown the past seasons. A few playful gestures mark the discreet return of human presence, while light invites itself to illuminate the moving encounter with the spirit of the objects.

These emerge from under the white veils that kept them intact and secret. Their mysterious story then encourages dreamy contemplation. Time is on their side in the hollow of the calendar.

OUT OF SEASON, objects project their thousand other lives to come and escape the rules of the ephemeral, to the great pleasure of those who give them a real place inside.
