Murano glass bowl, 1960
This blown glass bowl is made using the Zanfirico technique, which interweaves twisted multi-colored filaments into a transparent structure.
The finesse of execution and the regular patterns - twists, meshes, vibrant bands - evoke the productions of the famous Fratelli Toso house, pioneers of this technique on the island of Murano since the 19th century.
Each piece is unique, combining artisanal virtuosity and graphic poetry in a play of light inspired by Venetian lace and ceremonial sweets.
General condition
Excellent vintage condition. Transparency, shine and enamel perfectly preserved.

Use as delicate trinket trays, jewelry bowls, or to hold a few sweet treats on an elegant table.
Their finesse also makes them sublime decorative objects, to place on a dressing table, a console, or in a row on a shelf.
Paired with matching small plates, they form a striking graphic duo. Ideal for creating a poetic and luminous tablescape or for purely decorative use.
