Surface painted yellow and white inside, resting on a rectangular foot. Bears the manufacturer's mark.

ARTIST
The designer, sculptor and modeler Giovanni Gariboldi (1908-1977) was personally hired in 1926 by Giò Ponti at Richard-Ginori as an apprentice modeler. In the 1930s, Richard-Ginori presented some of the artist's creations, decorated with naturalistic motifs of impressionist inspiration, made in the Milanese factory Ginori San Cristoforo, at the 5th Triennale di Milano and enthusiastically commented on by Ponti in his architectural magazine Domus.
