Kurt Jesch candlesticks, Bleiburg, 1960
Made in the 1960s by Kurt Jesch in Bleiburg, this pair of vintage cast brass candlesticks features a sculptural design inspired by the stylized flower.
The arms rise in elegantly twisted plant arabesques, resting on a drop-shaped base. The base is signed “Amadéo,” a brand associated with the Austrian artist’s work. A poetic expression of metal in the spirit of post-war decorative art.
